Police are appealing for witnesses after two vehicles were damaged by objects thrown at them while travelling on the Broadland Northway.
Norfolk Police were called to Horsford Bridge on the A1270 at around 6.40pm on Tuesday 25 August following reports that vehicles had been struck by unknown objects.
One of the vehicles had its sunroof smashed, while a window on the second vehicle was damaged.
Officers attended the scene, but the people responsible had left the area and have not yet been identified.
Norfolk Police has warned that throwing objects at moving vehicles is both dangerous and a criminal offence.
The force says incidents of this kind could cause a driver to lose control of their vehicle, potentially resulting in a serious collision and putting other road users at risk.
An investigation into the incident is continuing.
Police are asking anyone who was travelling along the Broadland Northway near Horsford at the time and saw anything suspicious to come forward.
Drivers who may have captured the incident, or people in the area, on dashcam footage are also being urged to contact Norfolk Police.
