Firefighters are tackling a major blaze at a plastics factory in Beccles.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to M&H Plastics on London Road at 12.52pm on Monday 14 September.
A large industrial unit measuring approximately 40 metres by 90 metres was fully alight, with the fire spreading towards a neighbouring building.
Fourteen fire appliances were initially mobilised, with crews from across Suffolk joined by firefighters and specialist equipment from Norfolk.
Additional crews were later sent to the scene as the operation was expanded.
Firefighters are using breathing apparatus, hose reels, pumps and large water jets to tackle the blaze, which has been divided into sectors to help crews manage the incident.
Residents and businesses nearby are being advised to keep doors and windows closed because of smoke from the site and, where possible, avoid the area.
The UK Health Security Agency, Environment Agency and UK Power Networks have all been informed.
Police have also been requested to help with traffic management around the scene.
The fire service says smoke is currently travelling towards Worlingham, Ellough Road and Rigbourne Hill, although the plume is high and dispersing.
The incident remains ongoing.
