A man has been bailed after police launched a rape investigation following an incident reported in Dereham over the weekend.
A man in his 30s has been released on bail after being arrested on suspicion of rape in Dereham.
Norfolk Police say a woman reported that she had been raped by a man off Old Becclesgate on Saturday night.
A police cordon was put in place in the area for much of yesterday while officers carried out inquiries at the scene.
The man arrested in connection with the investigation has now been bailed until September 8th while police continue their work.
