Norwich University of the Arts and the Royal College of Art have announced a new partnership to deliver jointly awarded degrees.
Norwich University of the Arts has announced a new partnership with the Royal College of Art that will see students studying for jointly awarded degrees in the city.
The collaboration will welcome its first intake of students in September 2027, with courses taught at the Norwich campus and supported by the teaching expertise, research and creative networks of the Royal College of Art.
The two institutions say the partnership will combine Norwich University of the Arts' long-standing reputation for creative education with the international standing of the Royal College of Art, offering students access to a wider range of academic knowledge and industry connections.
Leaders from both organisations believe the collaboration will help strengthen creative education in the East of England while supporting innovation, skills development and economic growth beyond London.
The partnership is also expected to enhance opportunities for collaboration with creative businesses and cultural organisations across the region, helping graduates develop the skills needed for careers in the UK's growing creative industries.
Both universities say the new courses will build on their shared commitment to excellence in art, design and creative practice, giving students in Norwich access to a world-class educational experience without needing to relocate to the capital.
Further details about the courses and application process are expected to be announced ahead of enrolment opening for the first cohort in 2027.
